My name is Blanka Ježková and I am a Czech translator, publisher and an author. I studied English and French and books have always been a beloved part of my life. From Canada I brought a beautiful book written by an Indigenous Chief Dan George which I then translated and published for Czech readers. I am also the author of a story in verse not only for children called Travels of a Star. In this way I would like to offer it to readers, publishers and distributors worldwide because I believe that the story about the little Star can bring the true light and joy into hearts of children and their parents around the globe.
